We were planting at the northern boundary of the T&G site which borders the access road. Dissapointingly, even at such a remote location, being roadside meant that litter was regularly found at the planting site. At one stage I plucked a tyre out of the ground which provided a ready made planting site.

We were instructed to plant modest sized trees in small clusters so that the view is not obstructed from the road. This approach is part of BFTs efforts to placate those who oppose tree planting by keeping views possible from the roadside.

One noteworthy element of the day is that a film crew joined us! Unfortunately the clip they produced is no longer live.
