Began by crossing the burn and then planting some alder by said burn and then some birch slightly up the hill. 2x15 bundles pre-lunch. After lunch plated a bundle of birch mixed in with some Guelder-rose and then another half a bundle of Alder by the burn to finish off. Good sized crowd lead by Andy and assisted by Adrian. tried out a mini mattock for the first time. Easier on the wrist than the planting spear and can be used with both hands more easily but even though its light, its another thing to carry around.
